Portrait of F1's Gunnar Nilsson
Normally one would describe a Swede as blond hair, blue eyes and being as temperamental as say, a barn owl. But with Gunnar Nilsson this was slightly different; on his head whirled dark hair with eyes to match, he looked like he was from Sicily or some other mediterranean isle. Nilsson was born in Sweden though, to be precise in Helsingborg in 1948, son of real estate magnate Arvid Nilsson and Elisabeth Nilsson.Add a comment
From the archives: Geneva centre - a long time ago
Found on an antiques fair. This photo was taken sometime long ago in the middle of Geneva, we can’t recognise the cars, could anyone help us identify?Add a comment
Like a Kadett out of hell....
I'll be gone when the morning comes
When the night is over
Like a kadett out of hell I'll be gone gone gone
Like a kadett out of hell I'll be gone when the morning comes
But when the day is done
And the sun goes down
And moonlight's shining through
Then like a sinner before the gates of heaven
I'll come crawling on back to you
Alfa Romeo 4C: Why? What? When?
At this year's Geneva motor show Alfa Romeo came up with what was perhaps the biggest surprise of that show. They unveiled the very appealing Alfa Romeo 4C concept car. Chances are they will put it into production in the coming years. This mid-engined 4 cylinder car is definitely an oddity in Alfa Romeo's history as Alfa Romeo never really made mass-produced mid-engined sports cars. Apart from the various Alfa Romeo 33 race cars and the ancient Tipo 512 prototype Grand Prix car we certainly can't think of any. In this article we try to find out what this new Alfa is all about and what it means for Alfa Romeo's future.Add a comment
