National Dutch oldtimer festival

Sunday 17 August saw around 1000 classic cars making their way to the dutch racing track of Zandvoort for the 'National Oldtimer Festival'. Even though the event was held on the brilliant Zandvoort track it wasn't all about racing. Many did do a few quick laps but an equal amount of classic car owners decided to stay in the perimeter of the cosy paddock. which was absolutely stuffed with all sorts of classic cars.

Mason driving Auto Union at Goodwood

Audi Tradition is marking this year's Festival of Speed at Goodwood, England (July 11 to 13, 2008) with a world debut. At the largest classic car racing event in the world, the Ingolstadt company will be taking the wraps off an absolutely authentic reconstruction of the original Auto Union "Silverarrow" Type D Dual Compressor from 1939.

RM Auctions raked in top prices yet again at their 'Ferrari - Legenda and Passione' sale. Most expensive item was the Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder which was sold for €7.040.000.

Shiny Mercs at Ecclestone sale

Bernie's multi-million pound collection shined at London sale, while others grabbed serious bargains. Of the big European auctions of the last year, the Ecclestone collection sale hosted by RM auctions was probaply the highlight. The array of cars under the hammer in London at the end of October was simply breathtaking;
