The Marketplace: Jaguar E-Type S2

This time a car for those that want to go very quickly indeed while at the same time looking like an enormous tit; it's one of the two original Jaguar E-Type Series 2 used in the 'Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me' Bond parody film starring Mike Myers. It of course features the Union Jack paint scheme on the outside with matching red and blue interior on the inside. It doesn't look that bad actually to those who suffer from Anglophilia I guess, but as I basically despise Mike Myers and his obnoxious little film I for one wouldn't want to be seen dead in it. Perhaps it's more suitable for some mad Gumball 3000 entrant, it comes with a hefty price tag of €89.000 (for a Series 2 in this state?!) so it is more than likely that only some mad rappers would want to afford something like this. Someone who has an ironic 'sense of humour'. You would make quite an impression though at the Gumball 3000, accompanied by some big-boobed blondes it might actually mean people will look over the problem of the driver looking like a tit whilst driving it. The car currently has a Belgium title (and is left-hand drive!) and comes with a letter from the film's production company certifying its originality. Looking at the photos the mechanicals don't look very promising, at this price anyway. See it here at E & R Classic Cars.
